Class of 2025 DL Christian Hudson flips commitment from UCF to Colorado

Colorado’s thriving defensive line landed a big 2025 commitment

Amid his senior season at Mainland High School in Florida, defensive lineman Christian Hudson announced Friday that he’s flipping his college commitment from UCF to Colorado.

Hudson is a three-star class of 2025 prospect (per 247Sports) who initially committed to the Knights in early July. The 6-foot-1, 280-pound DL received an offer from Colorado in September before taking an official visit two weeks ago for the Buffs’ home game against Kansas State.

In the 247Sports composite rankings, Hudson is his class’s No. 50 DL and No. 481 overall prospect. Notable Power Four teams that have offered Hudson include Penn State, Iowa State, West Virginia, Indiana and others.

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders now boasts nine class of 2025 commits with Hudson being the first true defensive lineman.
