Wisconsin received another tough piece of news on the recruiting trail yesterday. Class of 2024 four-star safety Koy Beasley announced his commitment to Big Ten rival Purdue, that after initially listing Wisconsin among his final four schools.
The Cincinnati, Ohio native was on campus for an official visit earlier this month and comes from a city where Luke Fickell is expected to have a strong recruiting footprint.
Beasley is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 123 player in the class of 2024, the No. 9 safety and the No. 5 recruit from the state of Ohio.

The commitment moves Purdue’s 2024 class into the top 20 nationally. He is the fourth blue-chip recruit to join the class.
Meanwhile, Wisconsin is in a bit of a lull. The Badgers have dropped to No. 29 overall in the national rankings.
