Skyy Clark, an elite point guard in the class of 2022, has narrowed his list of schools down to eight – and the USC Trojans are still in the running.
Clark, a native of Northridge, California, listed USC alongside Oregon, North Carolina, Kentucky, UCLA, Michigan, Memphis and HBCU Tennessee State.
First and foremost I want to thank each and every school that has been involved in my recruitment, I’m truly blessed to be looked at in such high regard for my basketball talents. Thank you for your time and energy. pic.twitter.com/2kKRywiu8a

“I have decided to cut my recruitment down to my final 8 schools which I feel will help me best attain my goals on and off the court,” Clark added on Twitter. “Some very hard decisions had to be made but here is my final 8 right now. God bless.”
Clark is currently the 15th ranked prospect in the class of 2022 according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, with most expecting a jump into the top-10 when the rankings are updated.
Some believed he would reclassify to 2021, especially after narrowing his choices so early in the process, but it sounds like he is still planning to wait until 2022.
Regardless, he will be an instant impact player at the collegiate level, and while most signs point to Kentucky at this point, he’s a recruit worth keeping an eye on – and would be a huge get for coach Andy Enfield and his staff.
