Coach Kenny Brooks and the Kentucky women’s basketball team stayed unbeaten in the SEC on Sunday by beating the Georgia Bulldogs 78-64. It was their night straight win overall, and showcased two of the Wildcats biggest stars.
Center Clara Strack led the way for Kentucky with 25 points and 12 rebounds. She also had 4 assists and a block. Meanwhile, Georgia Amoore went for 24 points and 8 assists, continuing a season that has her in the running for a national Player of the Year award.

Amelia Hassett was the only other Wildcat in double figures, and she also had a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards. Teonni Key was next with 9 points.
Kentucky won the game early on. They jumped out to a 23-4 lead after the first quarter, and led 44-21 lead at halftime. Georgia played much better in the second half, but they weren’t able to mount a real comeback.
The Wildcats will play Texas A&M next, with that game coming on Thursday evening. It can be viewed on the SEC Network.
