Cinematic trailer for Gotham Knights is appropriately gothic

Following Bruce Wayne’s untimely death, the bat family is gearing up to protect Gotham.

There are not even two weeks left until Gotham Knights comes out, and a new cinematic is giving us some insight into the bat family’s headspace.

On Tuesday, WB Games Montréal released a brand-new trailer for Gotham Knights. Unlike the recent PC features trailer, we learn more about everything happing in a post-Batman world. In the video, we can see Alfred reassure Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood that they are very much ready to defend Gotham City from whatever evildoers are out there.

Check out the trailer for yourself below. It’s spoiler-free too, so there is no need to worry about plot details.

In addition to having a meaty narrative, Gotham Knights places an enormous emphasis on co-op. Two players can play through the entire campaign from start to finish, though many fans are still disappointed that four people can’t jump in at once — WB Games Montréal already confirmed that several months ago. Considering how many promotional materials show four characters, it’s an odd decision, but it is what it is.

Gotham Knights launches next week on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2022, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
