Cincinnati’s Brendan Sorsby’s backward pass becomes West Virginia touchdown

Cincy’s Brendan Sorsby had a mixed bag of a game against West Virginia

The difference in West Virginia’s victory over Cincinnati on Saturday was seven points.

Bearcats quarterback Brendan Sorsby might want to put up his hand and accept blame foe the 31-24 defeat in Big 12 play.

After his turnovers in the first half led to 10 Mountaineer points, the quarterback was hit and coughed up a backward pass that was recovered by Tyrin Bradley Jr. of West Virginia, who cruised into the end zone for a 31-21 lead.

Sorsby did have a rushing touchdown for the Bears and threw for a score but his gaffes proved costly in the end.
