The easiest part of 2020 NFL mock drafts comes right at the top with the Cincinnati Bengals and Joe Burrow.

That rule isn’t changing coming out of the combine as a new wave of mock drafts go public. It didn’t change in our seven-round effort and it likely doesn’t change anywhere else.

Here’s a quick roundup of notable mocks released after the combine.

USA Today — Nate Davis

1. Cincinnati Bengals – Joe Burrow, QB, LSU: He didn’t perform at the combine though did seem to toss cold water onto the notion he wouldn’t be willing to play in Cincy. Scenarios suggesting the Bengals should take Tagovailoa or Ohio State’s Chase Young are sure to emerge as pro days and free agency unfold. But at this point, it’s hard to see them bypassing Burrow, the record-setting, national champion Heisman Trophy winner and native Ohioan – especially as Andy Dalton trade rumors gain steam. I

Those Dalton rumors include his agent working with the Bengals on a trade. It’s just a matter of time — and don’t forget the Indianapolis Colts.

ESPN — Todd McShay

Joe Burrow, QB, LSU

What, you thought 9-inch hands were going to keep Burrow from Cincinnati? No chance. Burrow threw for 5,671 yards and completed 76.3% of his passes at LSU. He has elite pocket presence. And now he has quieted rumors that he might not suit up for the Bengals if they were to draft him.

No, the hand measurement doesn’t matter.

Bleacher Report — Matt Miller

The Pick: QB Joe Burrow, LSU

There aren’t many more ways to explain why the Bengals will draft Joe Burrow. It’s what everyone in the NFL expects to happen, and it’s the best pick for a team with a need at quarterback.

Had Burrow not breezed through the interview process this idea might’ve changed. But we know better.

NFL Network — Daniel Jeremiah

QB Joe Burrow, LSU

When it’s all said and done, I don’t foresee any drama here. The Bengals land their franchise QB.

The only drama now is whether the Bengals keep A.J. Green — Burrow told them he’d like to play with the star wideout.

Sports Illustrated — Kevin Hanson

1. Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow, QB, LSU

…Poised in the pocket with pinpoint accuracy, Burrow accounted for 65 touchdowns—60 passing and five rushing—and made it look easy at times despite facing seven top-10 opponents en route to an undefeated season.

Adding to this, keep in mind he was constantly under pressure and worked with a five-man front often. He’ll get six or even seven blockers in the pros.
