While the world focuses on the new Cincinnati Bengals Ring of Honor and the soon-to-be-released jersey redesign, the team spent a quiet Friday making a minor move on the coaching staff.

Zac Taylor’s staff is expanding once again, this time to include Louis Cioffi as a defensive quality control coach.

That goes down as a reunion for the Bengals and Cioffi, who spent 1997-2010 with the team.

A 20-plus person coaching staff only gets bigger here as Taylor looks to find a nice blend between new ideas and experienced guys who can help out.

On the defensive side of things, Cioffi will be responsible for helping Lou Anarumo rebuild the unit in the wake of losing names like William Jackson and Carl Lawson in free agency.
