A new Cincinnati Bengals 2021 NFL mock draft makes some interesting choices.

The Cincinnati Bengals figure to have plenty of options in the 2021 NFL draft.

But realistically the theme isn’t hard to see coming — surround Joe Burrow with as much talent as possible at all costs.

To that end, it only makes sense a new 2021 NFL mock draft from Luke Easterling has the Bengals doubling down on the offensive line over the first two rounds:

3. Penei Sewell | OT | Oregon

35. Deonte Brown | OL | Alabama

Keep in mind the current draft order there is merely based on the latest Super Bowl odds — which are never too kind to the Bengals.

Order aside, this is a pretty good example of what the front office could end up doing in 2021. Duke Tobin and Co. hope they have a franchise left tackle with Jonah Williams, but the reality is he’s merely going into his “rookie” season this year and could always kick to right tackle if necessary (where he might end up being better anyway).

Much of this thought process simply has to do with Sewell, who is an amazing left tackle prospect no team will likely pass on unless they need a quarterback.

Look at it this way:

No team is passing on that and the Bengals shouldn’t either if they’re in a position to get him. Add a guard in the second round like Brown and suddenly any concerns about the line in front of Burrow being good enough go away in a hurry.
