Christian McCaffrey now is the first player in NFL history with over 1,000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards in the first 10 games of a season.

Everyone loves consolation prizes! This is a good one for Panthers fans in the midst of a woeful performance against the Falcons. According to team stat guru Will Bryan, running back Christian McCaffrey just became the first player in NFL history to record over 1,000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards in the first 10 games of a season.
Impressive stuff.
There’s no reason for McCaffrey to be out there, but he’s padding his stats in garbage time anyway. Carolina trails Atlanta 29-3 with a few minutes to go.
