The Minnesota Vikings are in great shape heading into their bye week this upcoming weekend. Sitting at 5-1, there are a lot of question marks still with this team but the one position where there aren’t any is at offensive tackle.
The duo of Christian Darrisaw and Brian O’Neill have both been excellent and given a ton of responsibility. With the interior still growing and developing, the tackles have been tasked with playing on an island to allow the interior to help itself as they continue to grow.
Darrisaw has lived up to his first round hype and then some this season.

This dates back to last season and is a truly impressive feat. Earlier this offseason, there were comparisons to San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams and those are proving to be closer to true than not.
