Chris Webber was back annoying NBA fans with his dreadful commentary in Blazers-Lakers

Chris Webber is not great at calling a game.

The Lakers and Trail Blazers played a great Game 1 of their first round playoff series on Tuesday night, with Damian Lillard leading Portland to a huge 100-93 victory that went down to the wire.

While it’s fun to have playoff basketball games like this back in our lives, it’s not so fun to have these games with Chris Webber involved in the broadcast. He was the analyst in the Blazers-Lakers game and he was his normal dreadful self. If he’s not rambling on like he’s trying to figure out where he’s going with his train of thought then he’s just saying things that are straight up wrong.

I’ve gone on before about how bad Webber is at calling games, which hurts me because he was one of my favorite college basketball players of all time during his two years with Michigan.

But as a broadcaster? Yeah, he’s really rough. And I’m not alone with those feelings.

Fans watching the game were rightly back to ripping Webber:
