The Arizona Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens basically made a quarterback swap. Last week, the Cardinals signed quarterback Trace McSorley from Baltimore’s practice squad to their active roster and released quarterback Chris Streveler, who had been with the team for almost two seasons.
Streveler cleared waivers but landed with a team. He signed with the Ravens to the practice squad, essentially swapping spots with McSorley.
Streveler, following his release, shared a message of gratitude to the Cardinals on Twitter.
Thankful the @AZCardinals gave me an opportunity the past 2 years. To my teammates and coaches it’s been an honour getting to go to work with you everyday. To the strength staff, athletic trainers, equipment staff & nutritionists I appreciate you all! On to the next opportunity!

The Cardinals and Ravens will not face each other in the regular season, but both teams are the No. 1 team in their respective conferences, so there could be a reunion in February if both teams make the Super Bowl.
That would be cool.
