Arguably the biggest mystery heading into Super Bowl 57 had less to do with the game than the pomp and circumstance before it.
After Chris Stapleton agreed to sing the national anthem, curious fans and bettors went searching across the internet to find any previous instances of the country music star performing the Star-Spangled Banner. Only none seemed to exist anywhere.
For all anyone knew, this was the first time Stapleton had ever sung the national anthem in public.
Either way he absolutely crushed it.

The over/under for the length of the anthem was set at 126.5 seconds. Stapleton finished his performance in 122.5 seconds, cashing the under.
Now it’s onto the second-biggest mystery: Who will actually win the Super Bowl?
