“The Chris Simms Unbuttoned” podcast unveiled three headlines for the NFL Week 11 games.

Surprisingly Simms first considered the Washington 27-21 victory over Carolina.

When asked what his headline would be, Simms responded, “Superman Returns but Rivera Revenges.”

Yes, Simms displayed English vocabulary is not a strong suit of his learning. He apparently does not understand “revenge” is a noun. A better usage might have been “Rivera gets his revenge” or “Rivera Avenges”.

Enough with the English lesson for today. Simms, a former NFL quarterback, is knowledgeable regarding the NFL, so what are some of the things Simms had to say regarding the WFT in particular?

“The shock of the game was Heinicke magic…Washington offense kind of consistently moving the ball on Carolina all game long.”

“Heinicke has definitely stepped up his game, I feel like the last few weeks.”

“If he can continue to throw the ball the way he is, Washington is going to be a pain in the butt down the stretch.”
