Chris Harris tweeting like he’s going to play for a new team in 2020

Chris Harris is tweeting like a player on his way out of town.

After agreeing to trade a fourth-round draft pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for cornerback A.J. Bouye, the Denver Broncos seem unlikely to re-sign fellow cornerback Chris Harris this offseason.

There’s a possibility that Denver could still bring back Harris but it’s a small possibility. Harris himself seems to think his time with the Broncos is coming to an end.

Shortly after news of the Bouye trade broke on Tuesday, Harris seemingly tweeted that he might play against Denver this season.

Harris might have been hinting that he could land with another team in the AFC (perhaps with the Kansas City Chiefs).

Harris also quote-tweeted a tweet from KMGH-TV’s Troy Renck and suggested that he’ll aim to make a new team’s Ring of Fame.

Harris also replied to a tweet from safety Will Parks that seemingly implied that the cornerback has played his last down in orange and blue.

The new league year — and NFL free agency — will begin on March 18.
