Chris Godwin has wasted little time leaving his mark on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ record books.
With a nine-yard catch in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, Godwin took over the No. 2 spot on the Bucs’ all-time receiving yards list, passing Mark Carrier.
It’s an impressive accomplishment for a player in only his sixth NFL season, but Godwin is still barely halfway to the No. 1 spot, held by current teammate and future Hall of Famer Mike Evans.
