Chris Broussard: ‘It just doesn’t seem like it’s in the cards’ for the Nets this year

Chris Broussard is worried about the Nets’ health issues.

Chris Broussard hopped on “Speak For Yourself” with Marcellus Wiley and Emmanuel Acho to express his concern for this Brooklyn Nets team, which seems to be the common trend nowadays. Broussard is now beginning to panic with the Nets losing James Harden due to a setback on his hamstring injury.

He said, “Harden is the guy. With KD and Kyrie, they were just 2 and 3. Before James Harden joined Brooklyn they were just 7-6. He was the straw that stirred the drink with his selflessness and his playmaking ability, and they were rolling. I even think KD and Harden can win the championship — Unless they have Harden and KD together, they got no chance of winning it all.”

Brooklyn has been struggling with injuries all season long and it seems like a hump that will haunt them heading into the playoffs. Because this treacherous journey has had this one problem, Chris Broussard said, “It just doesn’t seem like it’s in the cards for them to win it this year.”

It’s easy to see why Broussard has come down to this conclusion. He bet on the Nets to win it all a couple weeks ago and even announced that “it was over.” Now, he is betting against them. It’s ok because the Brooklyn Nets and Steve Nash are still betting on themselves as they continue to navigate through this tough patch.
