The more separation we get from Kevin Garnett’s playing days, the more comes out about how unique of a personality he was. Up until now, Tony Allen was the last one to publicly provide insight on one of the best players of the early 2000s.
Some years ago, “The Bill Simmons Podcast” featured former Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat star, Chris Bosh. Simmons and Bosh spoke about a long list of items, one being the best power forwards he ever faced. Two came to mind. “(Tim) Duncan (and) KG (because) those were my heroes.” Duncan was the obvious answer, given his consistency and success.
Though, there was something different to Garnett.
