The Bruins, who own one of college football’s top defensive units, are ranked No. 24 in the US LBM Coaches Poll and need only one win from becoming bowl-eligible for the third straight season. UCLA’s future is also bright with the Big Ten awaiting the Bruins next summer.
Colorado, too, is on the rise in Deion Sanders’ first year as head coach. The Buffs are 4-3 and have an incredible challenge this weekend when they face Kelly’s Bruins in Pasadena.
