In an absolute dismantling of the New York Jets at home this week, the Kansas City Chiefs notched their seventh win in eight games as they move into the second half of the season. Nobody picked New York to win this game, and for good reason. However, they showed glimpses of competence throughout that at least kept them from being shut out.
There was lots of talk in the lead-up to this matchup centered around Le’Veon Bell, and a potential revenge game against his former team. It didn’t quite manifest as some had envisioned, but he got his win against his former team. The Chiefs led throughout the game and left no doubt as to which was the better team.
