The Kansas City Chiefs are trading the 178th pick in the 2023 NFL draft to the Dallas Cowboys.
In exchange for pick No. 178, the Chiefs are receiving a 2024 fifth-round draft pick. Keep in mind that the team traded a 2024 fifth-round pick earlier in the day to move up to select Virginia Tech S Chamarri Conner.
Now Chiefs are no longer on the clock. No. 178 sent to Dallas for a fifth-round pick in 2024.

The Chiefs still have another pick in the sixth round due to the Day 2 trade with the Lions (pick No. 194).
Dallas also reportedly turned down a trade offer from the Chiefs in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft. It seems they’ve since buried the hatchet.
The Cowboys selected Southern Miss CB Eric Scott Jr. at pick No. 178.
