After a few days of quiet, the Kansas City Chiefs have finally agreed to terms with a free agent from outside of their organization.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, former New York Giants cornerback Antonio Hamilton will sign with the Chiefs on a one-year deal in 2020. Schefter reports that Hamilton’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, claims Hamilton turned down more money from another team to sign with Kansas City, the reigning Super Bowl champions.
Hamilton entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina State following the 2016 NFL draft, starting off his career with Oakland Raiders before joining the Giants in 2018.
Former Giants’ CB Antonio Hamilton is signing a one-year deal with the Chiefs, per @RosenhausSports, who added that Hamilton turned down more money from another team. Hamilton is first free agent the Chiefs have signed this off-season.
