Chiefs to activate WR Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown for Week 16 matchup vs. Texans

According to a report, the #Chiefs are set to activate WR Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown for their Week 16 matchup against the #Texans.

According to a report by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Kansas City Chiefs plan to activate wide receiver Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown for their Week 16 matchup against the Houston Texans on Saturday.

The Chiefs acquired Brown in the 2024 offseason to add some much-needed speed to a struggling receiving corps. However, a sholder injury sustained by the veteran wideout in Kansas City’s second preseason game derailed his 2024 campaign, causing Brown to be placed on the Chiefs’ injured reserve list.

The former Arizona Cardinal has been rehabilitating all season, hoping to rejoin the defending Super Bowl champions before the playoffs in January.

The addition of Brown to Kansas City’s receiving corps will undoubtedly provide a shot in the arm for the Chiefs’ offense with two games left to play in the regular season.

Though it is unclear if Brown will see significant action on Saturday, head coach Andy Reid seems to feel confident in the veteran’s ability to help Kansas City’s offense become the high-powered juggernaut that fans expected it to be this season.
