Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce has an ever-growing resume of offseason activities. He’s been focused on growing his entertainment brand while making appearances and taking on projects that fit his unique character.
Kelce was a guest in a recent Barstool Sports’ “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast episode. He addressed why he’s not featured in Netflix’s upcoming docuseries “Receiver.”
“After (Patrick Mahomes) did it, I did get asked about it. I’d rather just play ball, man; I’m already doing enough with the podcast and everything,” said Kelce. “I’m way over the reality [expletive], dude. I’m out on that [expletive].”
Last year, Mahomes was one of the three stars of Netflix’s “Quarterback,” documenting his run to a Super Bowl and all the uncensored personal obstacles.
“I thought it was cool the way my brother (Jason Kelce) did his doc, though, kind of like a follow towards the end of somebody’s career, kind of the ups and downs and the battles that he had, and I think he did it the right way, but it was, it’s something that was so him,” said Kelce. “I just don’t know if I have the desire to do anything like that, so yeah, rather just focus on ball, baby.”
