Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has already had a busy week outside of the opening of Tight End University on Wednesday. The All-Pro has been a regularly featured guest on the ABC TV show “Holey Moley.” He’s involved himself in all types of hilarious golf-related shenanigans on the show.
NBA champion Stephen Curry produces the show and features comedian and Chiefs super fan Rob Riggle as a commentator. The Muppets also play a role during this particular season. On Tuesday’s episode, Kelce allegedly rubbed the diva of The Muppets the wrong way with a comment that he made. Miss Piggy was rumored not to be happy with the Chiefs’ star due to a backstage disagreement, according to her on again off again boyfriend and fellow Muppet, Kermit the Frog.

“One of our guests is the great Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce. He’s a real nice guy and an amazing athlete,” said Kermit. “Unfortunately, he made the mistake of asking if we wanted to throw around the old pigskin, and that did not fly very, very well with Miss Piggy. She was not happy. I hope you’re feeling better, Travis.”
A slip of the tongue seems to have been the cause for the stir, with Kelce using a phrase to describe a football that offended Miss Piggy.
Kelce appeared earlier in the season as a surprise distraction for competitors showcasing a variety of dances while dressed in football gear. Riggle immediately praised him on commentary for twerking and doing the worm, as only a few of his moves.

There is no telling what Kelce will do next on the show, but it appears he never has a problem finding enjoyment during the offseason.
You can watch new episodes of “Holey Moley” every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. CT on ABC.
