After a stellar November, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has earned AFC Offensive Player of the Month honors.
Mahomes only played four games in November due to the Chiefs’ Week 10 bye, but during those four games, he’s been more impressive than any other player in football.
During that four-game span, Mahomes completed 132-of-181 passes for 1,598 yards and 14 touchdowns to just one interception.
This actually marks the third time in Patrick Mahomes’ young career that he’s been recognized as an AFC monthly offensive player.
In each of the past two seasons, Mahomes earned the award in the month of September.
As December begins, Mahomes is the NFL leader in passing yards, interception percentage, and yards per game. He is on pace to throw for more than 5,000 yards on the season
