The 88th annual tournament, which draws the best golfers around the country, teed off on Thursday morning. The buzz is a little louder this year with the return of golf legend Tiger Woods after two years of inactivity due to injuries sustained from a car accident. Woods is the active leader in major championship wins and will be watched closely to see if he’s fully recovered physically.
The tournament will also have a brand new fan this year, with Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes’ daughter Sterling joining in on the fun. The former NFL MVP posted photos on Twitter Thursday of him with Sterling wearing the signature Masters green colors with the caption:
