The Kansas City Chiefs have a concerning injury update and it comes just moments before kickoff.
The Chiefs announced that starting LT Orlando Brown Jr. is questionable to play in Week 17 against the Cincinnati Bengals due to a calf injury. Brown was not listed on the injury report all week leading up to the game which suggests a new injury. Typically, this signals that the injury happened during warmups ahead of the game.
Should Brown be unable to play that’d leave either Lucas Niang or Andrew Wylie to flex out and play left tackle. It’s also possible that a player like LG Joe Thuney could move out to the left side and play some tackle. The team declared Prince Tega Wanogho and Kyle Long inactive for Sunday.

The Bengals have a pretty solid pass rush, headlined by DE Trey Hendrickson. This will prove to be a pretty big challenge for Kansas City as Brown is perhaps their most important and irreplaceable offensive lineman.
Update: Brown is not playing for Kansas City to start the game. Lucas Niang is filling in at left tackle, with Andrew Wylie filling in at right tackle. Needless to say, this hurts the depth in a big way.
