The Kansas City Chiefs are teaming up with local streetwear brand MADE MOBB for a limited edition merchandise drop ahead of their wild-card round playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Chiefs partnered with MADE MOBB via the NFL’s local merchandise collaboration initiative, which empowers teams to collaborate with local brands. Launched in 2013, MADE MOBB seeks to bring a midwestern flare to streetwear. Each of their designs seeks to harness the values of the midwest lifestyle, including hard work, craftsmanship, culture and community.

“We are incredibly thrilled to have the opportunity for an official collaboration with the Chiefs. Being a local streetwear brand in Kansas City for the last nine years, The MOBB has dreamt about this moment. For the collaboration, we worked with the Chiefs on a remix of official merchandise, taking the gear from the stadium to the streets,” MADE MOBB said, via press release.

Together with the Chiefs, MADE MOBB designed a limited edition graphic t-shirt and hoodie, with just 1,000 units produced for each design.

“As one of Kansas City’s leading streetwear brands, MADE MOBB was the perfect fit to help us bring this unique merchandise offering to life,” Chiefs Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Lara Krug said in a press release. “The streetwear game is a traditionally underrepresented market for team apparel due to licensing considerations but having the opportunity to create something so different and unique is going to appeal to many of our fans. We are excited to see this merch fly off the shelves as we start our playoff run.”
