Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi and offensive lineman Chukwuebuka Godrick share their Nigerian heritage in a mukbang, enjoying a delicious cultural feast.
“Being able just to have that name on the back of my jersey? Man, for one, is a big honor. You know, I’m blessed to, you know, be in that position.” said Godrick in the video. “It was ‘Heritage Month’ a few months ago. So we get to, you know, wear our flag on the helmet, which is really cool, being able to, you know, be out there, my face not showing, but you can tell he’s Nigerian is huge to me.”

Nnandi is a consistent presence and run-stopper from his defensive line position. Since the franchise drafted him in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, he remains a vital starter in defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo’s schemes.
Godrick signed to the Chiefs practice squad via the International Pathway Player Program during the offseason on the practice squad. The 24-year-old is in his second season on the offensive line.
