The Kansas City Chiefs could have starting linebacker Nick Bolton back on the field this Sunday as he battles his way back from an ankle injury. The Chiefs announced on Friday their final injury report ahead of their road matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, with Bolton upgraded to questionable.

Bolton led the team in tackles last season on their way to winning Super Bowl LVII. He has been recovering since injuring his ankle in the Week 2 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was a limited participant throughout the week, increasing his chances to play on Sunday. According to defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo’s comments earlier in the week, Bolton is reportedly champing at the bit to return.

Kansas City has also listed rookie offensive lineman Wanya Morris (Hip) and defensive tackle Matt Dickerson (knee) as questionable for this Sunday’s game. Jaylen Watson (shoulder), who missed last week’s game, was a full participant in practice and not listed on the injury report.
