The NFL draft is unique this season, with an entirely virtual format due to the coronavirus pandemic. While the 2020 NFL draft is closed to the public, the Kansas City Chiefs are asking for fan participation.
If you’re a season ticket member, you can enter a contest to become part of the “virtual inner circle” during the first three rounds of the 2020 NFL draft. What does that mean exactly? Well, you’ll be seen on the worldwide broadcast when the Chiefs come on the clock. Commissioner Roger Goodell will still announce the picks, but it seems like the team wants fans to show their pride and reactions as the picks are announced. You’ll also get a special swag bag for winning the contest with all sorts of goodies.
In order to enter the contest, head over to Chiefs Kingdom Rewards. Entries cost 100 Chiefs Kingdom Rewards points and you can only enter once. To participate, as a member of the “virtual inner circle” you must have a valid email address, internet access, and a device with a video camera. The team is asking that fans be dressed in Chiefs apparel during the draft and fans must have availability for the entire day they’re set to participate in.
Don’t forget, there is also a dress rehearsal for the draft that you’ll be asked to participate in soon.
