Chiefs fan shares video showing exactly where Patrick Mahomes’ TD-celebration throw landed

Whoa.

In case you didn’t already know, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes can throw a football quite far.

The Chiefs opened their first drive of Sunday’s AFC Divisional Round matchup against the Cleveland Browns with a one-yard touchdown run by Mahomes.

Mahomes didn’t feel any need to keep that ball, though.

The Chiefs quarterback took a crow hope and launched the football as far as he could into the stands. And immediately after the throw, plenty of fans were speculating about where exactly that ball landed.

Well, thanks to one Chiefs fan who was perfectly positioned to take video of the moment, we can see that Mahomes’ throw indeed landed in the third deck at Arrowhead Stadium.

So while it wasn’t quite a Herculean toss that completely left the stadium, it was still Mahomes throwing a football into the third deck. The second deck has gold seats, so we know he cleared it.

That’s just a ridiculous throw.
