Or I won’t play. @LeVeonBell told me about this

The Kansas City Chiefs are getting a taste of what the Pittsburgh Steelers went through recently. In case you have all forgotten, former Steeler and current New York Jets running back Le’Veon Bell sat out an entire season and forfeited $14.5 million in 2018. Now, Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones has taken a page out of his book and is considering that same on Bell’s word.
Bell’s plan was to eat the massive loss and then get it all back in his next free-agent contract. The problem with that was his deal with the Jets didn’t break the market like he hoped and ended up being less money than the Steelers had offered him before he quit on his team for a full year. I’m not sure if this is the guy Jones should be emulating but at least Jones plays a position where the market is much more favorable for an elite talent like him.
