Chiefs defeat Ravens in AFC Championship game, advance to Super Bowl LVIII

The Kansas City #Chiefs defeated the Baltimore #Ravens in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday night to advance to Super Bowl LVIII.

The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl-bound after defeating the Baltimore Ravens by a score of 17-10 at M&T Bank Stadium in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday night.

The matchup between the AFC heavyweights made for excellent television, and was hotly contested in all four quarters. Kansas City maintained a 10-point lead until the fourth quarter when Ravens kicker Justin Tucker hit a field goal to cut the lead to seven.

Baltimore gave the ball back to the Chiefs with just over two minutes remaining in the game, and after a clutch drive by Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City sealed the game on a Marquez Valdes-Scantling reception that earned a first down.

While the Ravens showed plenty of fight in this game, they were unable to show an ability to finish drives against the Chiefs’ rock-solid defense.

Kansas City’s opponent in Super Bowl LVIII will be determined by the outcome of the NFC Championship Game, which is set to kick off later on Sunday night.
