Chiefs among teams with scouts in attendance for Georgia vs. Oregon

The #Chiefs will have a scouting presence for this afternoon’s college football matchup between Georgia and Oregon.

The Kansas City Chiefs are already hard at work scouting the next wave of NFL talent.

College football season has officially arrived, which means the Chiefs and 31 other NFL teams will have their scouts back on the road. They’ll be attending some of the top games across the country and compiling information about players eligible for the 2023 NFL draft.

One of the top games this week is between the reigning national champions— the No. 3 ranked Georgia Bulldogs and the No. 11 ranked Oregon Ducks. The game is taking place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. WSB-TV’s Zach Klein revealed just a few of the NFL teams who have scouts in attendance for the game and that group included the Chiefs.

We already covered one of the draft-eligible players that the Chiefs are likely to be watching in Georgia redshirt sophomore CB Kelee Ringo. There are quite a few other prospects in this game, though. Here are some of the others they’ll be keeping a close eye on:

  • Georgia DL Jalen Carter
  • Georgia EDGE Nolan Smith
  • Georgia OT Broderick Jones
  • Georgia TE Arik Gilbert
  • Georgia S Christopher Smith
  • Georgia EDGE Robert Beal Jr.
  • Georgia TE Darnell Washington
  • Georgia C Sedrick Van Pran
  • Georgia S Tykee Smith
  • Georgia RB Kenny McIntosh
  • Georgia WR Kearis Jackson
  • Georgia RB Kendall Milton
  • Oregon LB Noah Sewell
  • Oregon CB Christian Gonzalez
