Cease has been nothing short of nasty as he’s third in the AL with 142 strikeouts on the season. The Twins are in the top half of the league as far as K’s per game goes, but Cease is a different animal. Chicago has won 5 of Cease’s last 6 starts, and they crawl back to .500 into the break. Run line/Against the spread
The Sox are 28-19 on the RL on the road, which is one of the better marks in MLB. Two factors strike me here: the White Sox pitch better on the road with a 3.55 ERA vs. a 4.49 ERA at home. They also favor day games with a 3.61 ERA vs. 4.39 at night. The only worry here is what happens after Cease likely leaves the game in the 7th inning. Chicago’s bullpen has been an issue as it’s 18th in baseball with a 3.93 ERA.
