This Tuesday, the stage is set for an exciting first meeting of the 2023 season between the Chicago Cubs (26-33) and the Los Angeles Angels (31-30).
The Cubs enter this series on the heels of a four-game series with the San Diego Padres, which resulted in an even split. The Cubs, however, failed to put any runs on the board in two of those games, including a 5-0 shutout in the finale on Monday.
Meanwhile, the Angels are returning home following a challenging 3-4 road trip. They managed to snap a three-game losing streak with a narrow 2-1 victory over the Houston Astros on Sunday. Coming off a day of rest on Monday, the Angels will look to carry forward their winning momentum against the Cubs.
