The Tennessee Titans notched their sixth win of the season on the back of their defense — yes, you read that correctly — and topped the Chicago Bears on Sunday, 24-17.
The Titans had a slew of injuries and question marks on defense going into this Week 9 contest, but the players who needed to step up did just that, leading to the win.
Of course, it’s worth mentioning that the Bears are putrid offensively and were missing multiple starters upfront; however, the Titans did exactly what they were supposed to do under those circumstances.
While it was a great day for the Titans’ defense, the offense continues to struggle. Ryan Tannehill and Co. didn’t find much success against a stout Bears defense. This was the third game in a row in which the Titans didn’t look like themselves offensively.
