The Chicago Bears will enter tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Rams as the number one seed in the NFC after the Seattle Seahawks lost to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday night.
This should be a confidence booster for the team – as they’re starting to gain ground towards a playoff spot.

If the Bears can beat the favored Rams tonight, they’ll be 6-1 and tied with the Steelers (6-0) and Chiefs (6-1) for the most wins in the NFL. Some experts and fans alike believe the Bears are frauds. Their winning ugly motto from qiuarterback Nick Foles shows they’re aware of the work that needs to be done. That doesn’t mean they can’t continue to win football games though.
The Bears defense has started to return to 2018 form, as they held Tom Brady to just 19 points on Thursday Night Football a couple of weeks ago. They followed that up by holding the Panthers to 16 points. Even in their only loss of the reason, they held the Colts to under 20 points. That loss was on the offense.
Chicago will go as far as their offense takes them. They have the potential to be the top seed in the NFC after seven games, which is something that many people didn’t expect. There’s still a long way to go, but it’s something they deserve credit for.
Their next five games, including Monday night’s game, will be a tough stretch for the Bears. Besides the Vikings, the other four teams have a winning record and very well could beat the Bears. This is where we find out if the Bears are for real, or if they’re pretenders.
