Chicago Bears announce initial 53-man roster

The Chicago Bears have established their initial 53-man roster ahead of the 2022 regular season, but changes are coming.

Following a couple days worth of cuts, the Chicago Bears have finalized their initial 53-man roster. That includes some surprise cuts, including defensive linemen Mario Edwards and Trevon Coley, along with offensive lineman Michael Schofield and cornerback Thomas Graham Jr. Veteran cornerback Tavon Young was placed on injured reserve.

Keep in mind, this initial 53-man roster is subject to change as waiver wire claims are made and other players are moved around, including wide receiver N’Keal Harry expected to be moved to IR.
