Oklahoma City Thunder rookie big man Chet Holmgren was just trying to offer some praise for Kevin Durant.
The two-time NBA Finals MVP is having an incredible season for the Phoenix Suns and he’s having particularly remarkable success with his 3-point shot.
Durant has made more than half of his shots from beyond the arc and Holmgren was impressed when he discovered this information.
Chet taking note of KD shooting 54% from beyond the arc this season 🎯😮

Holmgren saw the stat and responded on Twitter with a message that left some fans confused.
The 21-year-old big man said, “54 from treball is odee shooting hang pulls” and if that didn’t make a lot of sense to you right away, we can promise you that you are not alone.
Fortunately, if you were confused, we’ve got you covered and can break it down for you.
54 from treball – Durant was shooting 54 percent on 3-pointers, also known as a “treball”
is odee – This is a slang term that means “wild” or “very”
shooting hangpulls – This is KD’s signature shot in which he uses a hesitation move into a pull-up jumper. This amazing video on YouTube contains 18 minutes of KD using the move on the court.
So what Holmgren is trying to say is that it’s wild for KD to make more than half of his jumpers when his shots have such a high degree of difficulty.
But instead, it has turned into a meme that has circulated on Twitter.
