Check out where this CBS Sports mock draft has Toney landing

CBS Sports’ latest mock draft shows Toney falling a bit in the first round, but potentially in a beneficial way to him.

Of the two Florida prospects expected to be selected in the 2021 NFL draft, tight end Kyle Pitts has seen much less fluidity on mock drafts than receiver Kadarius Toney. Though there are some outliers, most of them show Pitts being selected in the top 10 (specifically, in or around the top five). The newest update from CBS Sports football writer Tom Fornelli shows him landing in a commonly predicted spot.

He has Pitts going fourth overall to the Atlanta Falcons, where he would be an additional weapon in an already loaded passing game for quarterback Matt Ryan. A lot of analysts expect Atlanta to package this pick to a team looking to select a quarterback, like Denver, but if the Falcons stay in this spot, Pitts is a very likely option.

If one of the top three QBs fell to the Falcons here, it wouldn’t shock me to see them take one or trade down. Instead, they take yet another incredible weapon to add to their offense.

NEXT: But what of Toney?
