We are still about six months away from when [autotag]Notre Dame baseball[/autotag] gets its season started, but Frank Eck Stadium got its underway this summer.
The home of the Irish had its new turf installed recently, and it wasn’t a quick process. Notre Dame’s social media team capitalized on this opportunity, as they created a time-lapse video of the process.
[autotag]Jake Kline Field[/autotag] has held the name since 1995, and according the Notre Dame’s official athletics website, has had the same FieldTurf since prior to the 2014 season. Typically it’s an eight-year life for that kind of surface, but since the Irish don’t use it on a daily basis, so they got an extra two-years out of it.

Around 12-seconds in, when the video pans out to see the whole field, really shows how much work it went into this upgrade. Jake Kline Field looks great and is ready for the spring.
