The green, white and gold of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio has become one of the most iconic colorways for LeBron James and his line of signature Nike sneakers. According to Complex Sneakers who shared an image originally posted by @ivegottheshoez on Instagram, Nike is releasing a player exclusive version of the SVSM for the LeBron 17–James’ latest signature model that dropped just prior to the season.
A player exclusive sneaker is a special version of a shoe that are given to professional athletes directly. These SVSM sneakers pay homage to LeBron’s hometown and alma mater by including St. V’s logo on the tongue and colors throughout the design of the 17.

During a recent trip to Northeast Ohio to play the Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets forward, P.J. Tucker, payed his respects to the birthplace of LeBron James by rocking Nike’s Zoom LeBron 3 SVSM Away’s. There’s a good chance we might see the sneaker king wearing this latest SVSM LeBron shoe on an NBA court near you sometime down the road as well.
