Ever since Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill reached out to Triple H on social media about wanting to attend WrestleMania 40 in his hometown and the WWE CCO told him to come through, fans have been wondering exactly what role he might play.
That speculation took off when short promo videos started airing during WWE programming, then hit another level Thursday. Triple H hit X to introduce a teaser video for WrestleMania 40, narrated by Meek Mill and set to the instrumental of one of his most famous tracks, “Dreams and Nightmares.”
Mill and Triple H both reference dreams and nightmares in respect to WrestleMania as well, and the four main event players all briefly appear: Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, The Rock and Seth Rollins.

Meek also responded to the video, promising a “legendary night” in Philadelphia.

It’s still not 100% clear how Meek Mill will be incorporated into the event, but WrestleMania has a long history of making stars from the world of music part of the show. The hope is that he’ll actually perform “Dreams and Nightmares” live, which would be a popular choice and thematically appropriate for Rhodes’ journey in particular.
We’ll see if we get an announcement of some sort over the next few days. WrestleMania 40 is set to hit Philly for two night on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7 at Lincoln Financial Field.
