This is a big year for the Los Angeles Rams, and not just because there’s an immense amount of pressure on the team to rebound from last season’s disappointment. The Rams are opening a new stadium in Inglewood, SoFi Stadium, and also getting redesign uniforms to usher in the new era.
On Monday, the team revealed its new logos and colors, which was met with mixed reviews. Most fans don’t like the L.A. logo, but do enjoy the refreshed ram head, which is an alternate logo for the team.
Kevin Demoff said each logo will be used in different places, with all of them being featured by the team. For those wondering how SoFi Stadium will look with the new branding, the virtual tour site gives the first glimpse.
Here’s a closer look at the stadium from inside, which shows how the Oculus video board will be used, as well as the ribbon boards around the stadium. The colors really pop, while the logo at midfield will likely be a polarizing feature.
There’s just no denying how great the colors look.
The Rams are scheduled to play their first games at SoFi Stadium in August for the preseason. The stadium will officially open in July, though, for a Taylor Swift concert.
