EA Sports has released the wide receiver rankings for the latest installment of the Madden NFL franchise, and former LSU Tiger [autotag]Justin Jefferson[/autotag] is rated as one of the few 99 overall players in the game.
Only a handful of players earn the 99 overall rating every year and those players get certain perks. Last season, the 99 overall players received golden cleats from EA Sports. We will see what Jefferson gets this season.
Regardless, the former Tigers star had an absolutely priceless reaction to finding out he would receive the game’s highest possible rating.
Y’all have no idea what it means to be a 99 in Madden!! Since I was 7y/o I been creating my own player making him a 99 and now I don’t have to🤯🤯

Last season, Jefferson had 128 receptions for 1809 yards and eight touchdowns. He is the top target for Vikings quarterback, Kirk Cousins.
Jefferson was a member of the 2019 national championship team at LSU. He hauled in 111 receptions for 1540 yards and 18 touchdowns as he and [autotag]Ja’Marr Chase[/autotag] were unstoppable for [autotag]Joe Burrow[/autotag] and the Tigers offense.
The Vikings finished the 2022 season 13-4 and were champions of the NFC North. They hosted the New York Giants in the Wild Card round and lost to them 31-24 to end their season.
