Chase Young’s first game in NFL setting up to be entertaining thanks to Philly matchup

The Eagles have been decimated by injuries up front, and it could set up with Washington’s D-line wreaking havoc on an inexperienced group.

If you’ve been tracking injuries in the NFL so far during training camp, you’d know that the Philadelphia Eagles, who Washington plays Week 1, is getting ravaged by them.

Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is questionable for the first game; guard Brandon Brooks is missing time; left tackle Andre Dillard has been placed on Injured Reserve. The offensive line in particular has been handicapped by early nicks and bruises, and because of this, Matt Pryor and Jordan Mailata have been getting work at LT in practice, with Cordy Glenn coming in to try out soon.

While this may be tough news for the Eagles, it is fantastic to hear as a fan of the Washington Football Team, especially rookie DE Chase Young. At the moment, it looks like he will start the year lined up across from a payer who has yet to be signed in Philly.

Regardless of who lines up opposite of Young, they are bound to have their hands full, judging by what we’ve seen so far during training camp. However, if he is able to take advantage of a player who is inexperienced with the new system, and only has a week of playing with his teammates? Look out.

It’s officially game week, and we can’t wait to see how this all plays out.
